Clevedon progressed to the final of the Bristol Under 18's Combination League Plate with a comfortable victory over Fry Colts. Sean Gilhespy opened the scoring on 15 minutes converting a through ball by Joe Waring. Clevedon continued to pile on the pressure and were rewarded on 40 minutes when James Cridland dispossessed Fry's in the centre circle before setting off goalward and beating the advancing keeper with a lob into the top of the net. On the hour mark, the hardworking Matt Wickings played a long ball down the right to Will Cooper who fired in a low cross from the right corner flag. James Cridland pounced on the ball to bag his second goal with an effortless tap-in. Clevedon now had control of the game and caught Fry completely off guard when a quickly taken free kick by Will Cooper, from the edge of the Fry area, saw James Cridland round off a solid display with his hatrick.
